Pre-Sankranti celebrations were held at our college on Monday, marking the onset of the harvest festival. The campus was beautifully adorned with festive decorations, vibrant rangoli designs, and cultural displays that reflected the rich heritage of Sankranti.
The event was graced by our Chairman, Shri M. Srinivas Rao Garu, and the Principal, Dr. D. Mohan Reddy, who addressed the gathering and highlighted the cultural, social, and agricultural significance of the festival.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman emphasized that Sankranti symbolizes gratitude towards nature, farmers, and the spirit of community living. He noted that such celebrations help students stay connected to Indian traditions while fostering unity and respect for cultural diversity.
In his address, the Principal, Dr. D. Mohan Reddy, underlined the importance of celebrating festivals in educational institutions, as they promote holistic development beyond academics. He encouraged students to uphold traditional values while embracing modern education.
