About The Department
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is dedicated to cutting-edge research and development in Power Apparatus and Systems. The department offers a full-time undergraduate program with an annual intake of 120 students, ensuring high-quality education and hands-on experience.
Our department consists of highly qualified and experienced faculty members who provide strong academic guidance and support. We take pride in offering well-equipped classrooms featuring the latest audio-visual technology and modern laboratories for practical learning. To facilitate research and academic excellence, we provide advanced computing resources and a well-stocked library.
The department maintains a strong industry-institute interaction and offers testing and consultancy services. Faculty members and students actively participate in National and International Conferences, presenting research papers in reputed journals. To ensure continuous faculty development, we organize periodic training programs by inviting eminent personalities from industry and academia, and sponsoring faculty for Faculty Development Programs (FDPs).
The department encourages students to organize Intra-Departmental and National Symposiums to enhance their knowledge on the latest technological advancements. Additionally, we have established a Hobby Centre to nurture students' innovative and novel ideas in research and development, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
