Nss Wing Artb Organizes Events
Prevention of Dengue and Chikungunya
Raising awareness about cause and for prevention of Dengue and Chikungunya. NSS, Artb organized a workshop on “Combatting Dengue and Chikungunya” on NSS DAY, September 24th, 2018, at kapulupada village about these diseases and preventive measures to be taken. Health and Environment Safety Workforce,Many NSS Volunteers with sanitation staff and faculty participated in this awareness programme and distributed pamphlets and explained the mode of spread of Dengue virus we also inspected the water stored containers and discarded the Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae harbouring containers in different schools building and hostels. Fumigation or fogging done for mosquito control and were advised people to remove unwanted tires, coconut shells, flower pots where rainwater accumulates and acts as a storehouse for mosquito breeding.
Voting Awareness programme
Avanthi Nss team organized Voting awaraness programme to aware the students of college and Importance 22 NSS students participated in spread voting awareness Rally. 2018. Note Book Preparation and Distribution:
NSS cell, we have established a Note Book Preparation cell in our college involving 72 NSS Volunteers as core volunteers. Our Note Book Preparation cell was very active throughout the year. As suggested by Chairman of group ,they prepared 900 Note books of A year along with NSS Volunteers and Other College Students. They distributed books to poor students on 17th November, 2018 in our surrounding villages like amanam,ravada .
